Tari Dewi

There are so many traditional dances in Indonesia, but too bad, many of them lost in the wave of modernisation. Young generations today only have very limited knowledge about our culture. It is such a shame if we lose something as beautiful as this dance. This is a traditional classical dance from Sunda, West Java. I don't know much about this dance, all I know the meaning of "dewi" is godess in our language. I think this dance is about some godesses, no wonder it is so beautiful, elegant and only being performed by women.
